Tonya Brewer has been a part of the Lathan Team since 2006. She is a graduate of the University of South Alabama with a dual degree in Anthropology and Communications. Her college career focused on conservation of primary historical documents and museum work along with organizational communication. Since being at the Lathan Company, Tonya has continued to expand her preservation knowledge, skills and understanding of restorations in the construction industry.

Tonya has led some of Lathan’s most prominent projects such as Beauvoir Mansion Restoration in Biloxi, MS, Netherlands Carillon Bell Tower Restoration in Arlington VA, and Historic Brown Chapel AME Church Restoration in Selma, AL.

Tonya is also an award-winning artist that brings a unique holistic approach and care to projects she’s a part of.
